Joining up with Kay Family Martial Arts has been one of the best things we have done as a family. We had our taster session and both of my boys were very shy and lacking in confidence. We signed up together and have attended the classes religiously since. Sir, Miss and James are experts at making the kids feel comfortable in the surroundings and know just what it takes to nurture talent and bring out the best in people. Today my lads and I have all achieved our red belts after a really short period of time. The boys stood up in a room full of people and spoke with confidence as well as sharing the techniques they have learned over the last 8 weeks or so. As a 35 year old man I can touch my toes for the first time in forever which I never thought I’d be able to do again. Anyone thinking about taking the first steps into MMA and building confidence, discipline, fitness and enjoy being in a family environment you should make Kay Martial Arts your first point of call.

My son has been going for over a year now and loves it, this place and all the teachers are fantastic, always offer support to the children when needed, I would highly recommend your children joining because they will have so much fun and learn life skills which will help them no matter what they do. it's that good that my eldest daughter has just joined she's 9 and talks none stop about going and all the stuff she is learning! as soon as my youngest is old enough she will be joining them too. I've never met a bunch of nicer people if I'm honest, everyone involved in the classes are brilliant, always smiling and the kids enjoy being there and always leave happy.

My son has been training for more than 2years in the AEGIS Academy. We witnessed him transforming to a little leader himself with commendable perseverance and passion. His motivation has increased day by day, improved his concentration, attention span and a great insight into his surroundings. The trainers are warm and friendly but very professional, the environment is great, well equipped and spacious . I highly recommend this National Marital Arts College for both children (from the age of 3) and adults. They have different programs tailored to the age group, family and individual needs!

Rewarding it 5 stars, couldn't rate it anything less than five stars. Me and my daughter been going to martial arts for last 3 years. It's the best thing we done together. The Aegis instructors have been amazing, I feel right at home. We have made some amazing friends. The programme itself is beneficial. The aim is to provide your children the right skills to be successful in life and be more independent. In addition their work on their social skills, communication, leadership, and discipline and emotional regulation, which is beneficial to yourself mental health. It helped my daughter build her confidence and self-esteem which in effect helped her speak up against her bullies at school. She has come along way from when she started. As for me it made me feel more confident in life and allowed me to try different things without the fear of getting things wrong. Big Sir has been amazing he has been a father figure with a lot of encouragement where needed and discipline in others area. For Miss she always wears a smile and responds to all my questions in person or via phone. She goes above and beyond to help out. It's an amazing place, you will be welcomed as a family member.

I have been training here for over 4 years and have loved every class I have been to. You don't have to be fit to start Martial Arts but you will definitely get fitter. You also learn important life skills both in regards to self defence but also in how you approach other aspects of life i.e work, relationships, difficulties, etc. I joined on my own but have never felt isolated or lonely. The classes can be enjoyed by children, families and individuals. The Instructors are knowledgeable and will ensure that you understand what you are doing and why you are doing it. If you want to get fitter, have fun and learn life skills I would highly recommend you and your family join this academy.
